I know that some companies make laptops specifically for video editing, since the software needed for video editing can require a lot of memory.

What are the best laptops to purchase for this purpose and why?

    eeyup i would agree too…Mac is the best when it comes to space and the rest…but if in case i want a really super fast, super powerful, and super priced laptop…try alienware..perfect for gamers…that means awesome disk size, system performance….just the difference is u will be using it for the video editing…

  3. all companies make high end machines, i’ve seen lappys at over $ 4000. corei7 or amd quat core is in that ballpark

  4. This is the one situation where a MacBook Pro is what you’re looking for. Macs are mostly useless and overpriced (in my opinion) but when it comes to professional-level audio/video production, Macs are the de facto standard.
